Our Family Companies
Helpful Tips

"Our home is for sale and our real estate agent suggested
we'd get a much better offer if our bathrooms were
updated. Can we really modernize our bathrooms
without spending too much?"

Solution: Bath Doctor's acrylic systems are perfect
for this situation. They are affordable and fast and
can really increase the value of your home.

At Bath Doctor our goal is to provide you with the information you need to make the best choice for your project.  We try to learn what problems your current bathroom is causing you, and then come up with the best possible solution.  An educated customer is our best customer!

Q: Why Bath Doctor?

A: • The thickest bathtub material in the industry

• The most color selections – white, almond, biscuit, gray, pewter, pearl, silver/white marble, almond/white marble, travertine marble, white granite, beige granite, and gray granite

• All Bath Doctor installers have completed their required coursework and factory training. Giving you the guarantee that your job will be professionally completed to your satisfaction.

• In business since 1977.

• We use a unique triple gasket installation system.

Q: Why Acrylic?

A: Easy to clean, no grout or mold problems, just wipe clean!  Will not stain, fade, chip, dent, or peel and keeps your bath water 30% warmer. Acrylic is a non-porous material custom molded to fit perfectly over you existing tub and walls.

Q: Why not just repaint my old bathtub?

A: Repainting looks great at first.  However that painted finish is fragile and requires special care. This application will chip, crack, peel, and fade.  This process is also very intrusive due to the toxic odor associated with repainting (should not be done with small children living in the home). The process will also take up to 3-4 days to dry.

Q: Do you have to remove my tile?

A: Not usually!  Bath Doctor’s wall surround system is contoured to go over and around your tiles.  Our surrounds come with finished bull nose edges.

Q: Why not just remove my existing old tub?

A:

Full replacement of a tub is very costly and you will be without your bathroom for 3-4 days.

Q: How are you able to match my old bathtub?

A: Bath Doctor is able to duplicate your exact bathtub through thermoforming technology. With our large inventory of bathtub molds we can guarantee an exact fit.

Q: Who will do the installation?

A: Bath Doctor uses employees who are authorized factory trained technicians. These technicians have also been through thorough background checks and drug testing prior to being hired – We care who comes into your home!

Q: How long will the installation take?

A: Most installations can be completed in one day.

Q: How long will my acrylic bathroom system last?

A: Acrylic has been used in bathtubs and whirlpools throughout North America for the last 30 years. Unlike fiberglass or plastic surfaces, acrylic can be made to look brand new even after years of use with the application of a simple buffing compound. Acrylic surface will not fade, rust, chip, peel, or dent.

Q: What type of warranty does Bath Doctor offer?

A:

Bath Doctor acrylic products are guaranteed for life. Refer to our cleaning instructions for the proper care of your Bath Doctor system.

Q: Will my plumbing be affected?

A: In most cases you may want to consider replacing your existing shower valve with an anti-scald mixing valve. Your benefit would be a safer shower for your family and less cost for maintenance down the road.

Q: In addition to acrylic products what else can The Bath Doctor do for me?

A: Yes. The Bath Doctor does offer other remodeling services for the bathroom. Contact your local Bath Doctor location to learn how we can be of assistance to you.
